Food as Medicine talk 23 May – GOING VIRTUAL!!

My Food as Medicine talk on 23 May 2020 is STILL going ahead but in virtual form via zoom webinar so you can attend from the comfort of your own home – wherever that may be. For the foreseeable future, the way of our new world is to connect digitally rather than physically. The terrific part is that we are not limited by geographic location so this means that our message that food can be the most powerful medicine can be delivered to a far broader audience.

My co-presenter Marieke Rodenstein and I think it is now more important  than ever before that people focus on improving their health and building as robust an immune and digestive system as possible. We are excited that people are finally seeing wellness as a necessity and not as a luxury. Strengthening our physical and emotional resilience is the single most important thing we can do right now. Eating a nutrient-dense traditional wholefoods diet is still probably the single most important step you can take to improve your health. Dialling in the other foundations or pillars of health that we will discuss will further bolster your health and resilience.

We are capping the number of participants to 40 people to make it more interactive and exclusive. 

Because a wholefoods lunch can not be provided as originally planned,  instead I will be gifting each participant 3 of my online cooking classes (retailing at $79 each) so that you can learn how to make your own bone brothslow cooks and organ meat meals in your home. As I’ve always argued, cooking and preparing your own nourishing meals at home is the fastest, most profound (and cheapest) way to vibrant health. Now that we are eating out less and forced to eat in more (whether we want to or not!) home cooking is taking on greater importance in our lives and knowing how to master the wholefoods staples is essential. For those who stay on the zoom webinar until the very end of the day as activate participants will ALSO receive (as a treat from me) 2 additional online cooking classes: gluten free baked cakes and chocolate (both retailing at $79) so you will potentially receive 5 online cooking classes with a total value of $395!!!

We understand that spending a whole day in front of a screen is not healthy so we have decided that the second half of the day (focusing on reducing the environmental toxicity in your home and boosting your system with Young Living essential oils) will be pre-recorded for you to  view in your own time in the comfort of your home a few days prior to the 23 May.

Here’s how it will work:

  1. We will send you the zoom link to the live webinar prior to the talk together with pre recorded essential oils video.

  2. We go live at 9am sharp on Sat 23 May with the Food as Medicine talk finishing at approx. 1pm.

  3. Straight after the Food As Medicine talk we will dive into a 30 minute presentation on essential oils to delve deeper into the concepts in the pre-recorded video and why we feel the YL oils are a must-have powerful tool in your health tool box especially amidst the current global health crisis.

  4. We will then open it up to Q&A for the entire talk (and pre recorded video). The aim is to finish by 2pm ish.

  5. After the talk we will email you the comprehensive 30 page Food as Medicine manual that sets you up for life with all of the information covered in the talk.

  6. We will email you either 3 or 5 of the online cooking classes depending if stayed to the very end of the webinar.
