Healthy halloween trick or treat bags 2023

Our healthy Halloween bags are breath of fresh air amidst all of the artificial refined ultra -processed crap that floods the streets on 31 October.

As I’ve always said, there’s no such thing as “junk food”. It’s either junk or its food.

For those who wish to offer their munchkins (or unsolicited door knockers) some healthy nutrient-dense real food treats for Halloween, this year we again pull out the goods at Broth Bar & Larder and have our healthy Halloween treat bags ready for pre-order.

In them you will find a selection of some of our best-selling kids’ favourite artisan organic raw treats along with some yummy savoury snacks too (plus some Halloween jokes!):

🎃 2 berry gummies made with mixed berries, gelatin powder and the teeniest amount of maple syrup (less than 1/10 teaspoon per gummy). 
🎃 2 mango gummies (as above but made with mangoes instead of berries). 
🎃 1 mint carob bear made with carob powder, raw cacao butter and therapeutic-grade Young Living peppermint essential oil .... With NO ADDED SWEETENER!!! 
🎃 a 30g pack of our signature activated almonds. Nice to have something savoury in the bag!! Traditionally, trick or treat bags contained nuts. 
🎃 a 30g pack of activated pepitas and goji berries 
🎃 2 choc orange raw dark chocolate segments in which we infuse our signature raw dark chocolate with therapeutic-grade Young Living orange essential oil
🎃 1 choc orange bliss ball infused with therapeutic-grade Young Living orange essential oil
🎃 kid friendly Halloween jokes 😂

All ingredients are certified organic. You won’t find any artificial, fake or processed ingredients in our bags!

These bags will be available for collection from Broth Bar &  Larder in Bronte from Monday 23 October. You can now pre-order and pre-pay by calling Broth Bar staff on 0421 786 009. Otherwise first in first served from 23rd October.  

Oh,  please keep your treat bags in the fridge as the gummies and chocolate treats need refrigeration as they contain no preservatives!!

“What a wonderful idea!!! Such a relief knowing I’m not the only parent who thinks this whole thing is crazy following northern hemisphere traditions that are not aligned with our earth based seasons as an excuse to sell crap to our community and fill our children with sugar!! It is spring here in Australia!! Flowers blooming, baby animals being born and new Life emerging!! When I was growing up in the northern hemisphere Halloween was about letting go, it was autumn and there were pumpkins everywhere and leaves falling from trees and we honoured our ancestors from our past (hence the scary dead theme of Halloween).
