Organ meats from Abundant Organics
Abundant Organics (an on-line one-stop organic shop run out of the Blue Mountains and delivering to Sydney) has an extensive
new range of organic organ meats and bones from pastured animals for sale including:

- chicken feet (4.99/500g) (these make chicken stock more gelatinous!!!)

These products are sold frozen under the Strictly Organics brand. I'm informed that the animals are grass fed and finished and the products are certified organic. As you can see from the above prices, organ meats and bones are very affordable even though they are the most nutrient-dense part of the animal. In particular, liver from pastured animals is the most nutrient-dense form of meat available and is especially rich in iron. Along with the fat of the animal, organ meats were the most highly prized part of the animal to our hunter-gatherer ancestors. Ideally, consume at least once a week. They are an especially important source of fuel and nourishment for athletes, children, those who are iron-deficient or pregnant and lactating women.
Abundant Organics also sells nitrate-free bacon (at last!).
